2007
ANNUAL JOG MEETING
In
November 6th 2007, the Centro Para Prevenção da Poluição (C3P,
Center for Pollution Prevention) hosted a JOG meeting in Peniche, Portugal.
The
meeting was led by the C3P Director General and attended by representatives
from C3P, NASA Headquarters, NASA Kennedy Space Center, International Trade
Bridge, Inc. (ITB) and the Instituto de Soldadura e Qualidade (ISQ).
The JOG
meeting was opened with welcome remarks from C3P Director General.
At the
JOG meeting a review of C3P’s activities and achievements in 2006 and 2007
were provided (information available in C3P’s Activities Report 2006/2007).
During
this meeting several possible project areas were discussed for C3P to
explore in 2007/2008, namely:

Renewable Energies – system integration;
►
Groundwater treatment / remediation;
►
Reduction of VOC emissions.
